Some New Outfits

As Hank gets a little older, he is starting to outgrow his newborn clothes and is moving into his 3-6 month clothes. I have to say, Alison and I are alread struggling some with the idea of our baby getting older, some of these are adorable.

This was the night Iowa won the Orange Bowl, and while Hank was excited, I reminded him that we are supposed to be Alabama fans first, and we could only cheer for other teams when it did not effect our favorite. He looked at me, grinned and drooled on his hand.

With the record cold snap to start the year, we have gotten a lot of use out of this outfit I like to call the Bearsuit.

More to come soon.

Trying New Things

Over the last several weeks, Alison has been trying to get Hank to do some new things to help with his development. One thing that is really fun to watch is the daily ritual of tummy time.

It is so fun to put Hank in the floor with his toys and watch him learn about motion, hitting stuff and music and lights and all sorts of other stuff.

Most of the time he gets pretty into it, and seems to enjoy himself.

After awhile though, he starts to get fussy and it is time to get up and eat.

And yes Mom, we put the dog away when this happens. j/k

Getting Ready for Christmas

Getting ready for Christmas with Hank was chaotic and absolutely memorable. We are so blessed to have him, and neither of us can imagine what life would be like without him.

We had a lot of fun putting up our tree, and Hank loved staring at the lights.

We were also lucky to get a visit from Julie.

And she managed to escape Bristol the morning the snow moved in.

We also got a visit from Jennifer before she went to her parent's for the holidays. She got Hank a hat that matches the sweater that Alison knitted.

We also got a nice visit from Amanda and Eric.

We all had fun with the snow while it lasted.

Aunt Kelly got Hank a great Christmas outfit that he really liked.

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we got to go to my little sister's house. My mother and her husband came to visit for the holidays, and so we all got together to have an incredible meal and open a few presents. Below are some pictures from our time at Lisa's.

On our way home we stopped by Aunt Pam's house and saw her, Kelly, Mark, Kathy, Todd and Josie. As we pulled up, Pam's house looked beautiful.

So did Kelly's.

Images of Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone. I know we are a bit late here, but it was a crazy holiday in our house. For the day of Christmas we woke up sort of early and made our way to Nickelsville to spend the day. We had a wonderful time and a very nice Christmas celebration. Below are most of the pictures I took. Enjoy, and thank you all for everything.

Sleep, Hank, in heavenly peace.
